Directed by innovative kumu hula Patrick Makuakāne, The Return of Kapaemahu brings Hawaiʻiʻs historic reverence for māhū alive just steps from the sacred stones.

Every Wednesday evening, weather-permitting, 6:30 - 7:30 pm at Kūhiō Beach Hula Mound located beachside on Kalakaua, near the Duke Kahanamoku Statue. Free, outdoors, seating on the grass. No show if parade or block party closes the street.

After the show, visitors can get a picture with the cast, and visit the stones just a few steps down the beach.
