Honolulu Community Gardens 50th Anniversary Celebration at Foster Botanical Gardens.
Honolulu is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Honolulu Community Garden Program in 2025 at Foster Botanical Garden. The event is free and open to the public with community garden information, education activities, vendors, food trucks, and entertainment. Parking is available on-street and at various locations around town.
Foster Botanical Garden is the oldest of the Honolulu Botanical Gardens, dating back to 1853. The garden is home to a notable collection of mature tropical plants, many of which were planted in the 1850s.
