the values that define our community: laulima (cooperation), moʻolelo (tradition), noʻeau (talent), ola kino
(healthy living), aloha (inclusivity), and aloha ʻāina
(stewardship of the land). These values play a vital role in preserving
historic sites, honoring our kūpuna and ancestors who shaped Kauaʻi’s
history, and fostering the continued evolution of diverse cultures that form
the island’s fabric.

Our festival provides visitors and residents with an
immersive experience in a tight-knit community that continues to thrive and
grow while celebrating Kauaʻi’s rich culture. WTC events are primarily held in Waimea, with
venues including Pāulaʻula
(Waimea Russian Fort), Historic Waimea Theater, Historic Waimea Sugar Mill, Waimea
Historic Informative Boardwalk, Captain Cook Statue in Hofgaard Park, Waimea
Pier, Kekaha Beach, and The Waimea Plantation Cottages.

The Waimea Town Celebration proudly promotes Kauaʻi and our island’s brand of rejuvenation.
