May Day is Lei day

Celebrate May Day is Lei Day in Hawai'i! Wednesday, May 1st from 11am - 2pm, at VAC Gallery in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Celebrating the Hawaiian custom of lei making and giving, VAC provides hands-on lei making activities focused on one of Hawaii’s most iconic symbols of aloha. Local musicians and impromptu hula dancing will take place honoring the unique way that Hawaiʻi’s multi-cultural traditions are woven together to create a more interesting, tolerant and beautiful community.”
