What’s the Status of Accommodations?
People who are required to self-quarantine for 14 days must designate a hotel or motel as their designated quarantine location.  If you are arriving during the quarantine period or will be in quarantine, please check in advance with the accommodations to ensure they are allowed to have quarantine travelers.
On the islands of Kauaʻi, Maui, and Hawaiʻi, short-term and vacation rentals are allowed to operate. However, no person who is subject to the mandatory self-quarantine is allowed to stay in these operations.
On Oʻahu, short-term or vacation rentals are considered non-essential business and illegal to operate.
